To grow the value of your business, there’s more involved than just growing the earnings of your company. The earnings are certainly one part of the business, but mitigating the risk associated with generating those earnings is just as important as the earnings themselves.

How to Mitigate Risk

Take a look at the way you conduct your business. Are you investing in the systems and equipment? Do you have underutilized equipment or the need for reinvestment in the business? You need to make it so that if somebody else were to take over the business, there is a low likelihood that there would be a fall-off in performance from one owner to the next.
